Third Work Session: Body Finishing and Our Learning Experienceđź”§đź’« (8/1/2026)
On 8th January, my teammates and I had the opportunity to be guided by Encik Shahar, a skilled technician in our school, to apply some aircraft body finishing skills on our Microlight Canard. These steps were playing their significant roles in our body preparing stage before we move into the painting process.m.canard Our main task was to clean and restore the aircraft body. This involved several processes, including sanding, grinding, and repairing damaged surfaces. One of the key techniques we applied was using filler material—commonly used in car body repair—to fix uneven areas and imperfections on the surface. It required patience and precision to ensure the body became smooth and ready for the next stage. Throughout this process, we were guided by Encik Shahar.
