First Work Session - Cleaning (4/11/2025)

We met with En. Zihad at the hangar to discuss the plan for the day. We requested a waterjet from the aerospace school’s storage, and since the hangar was out of car wash soap and sponges, En. Zihad assigned us to purchase the necessary cleaning supplies along with a few additional items from the nearby DIY store. After that, we finally started our cleaning after struggling to put together the water supply hose for the waterjet.

We cleaned the aircraft’s interior and exterior with a waterjet, sponges, and car soaps, removing all dirt and grime because the aircraft had been left abandoned for many years, resulting in extensive rust buildup and multiple insect nests forming within the interior. Finally, at the end of the session, we positioned the aircraft onto its tail to allow the remaining water to drain out from the rear.
